  • You are passionate about creating inclusive and accessible experiences that benefit all player types, while not sacrificing the intended vision of gameplay
  • You are a low ego and player focused designer who seeks opportunities to evangelize on behalf of the player experience, not just within your team, but within your entire organization
  • You are driven by what the player does, and why they do it; bolstering your arsenal of UX and UI tools with empathy and real world player data

Some of your role:

  • Mentor, guide, and manage the UI/UX team comprised of UI artists and UX designers as well as advocate for UI/UX throughout the studio
  • Oversee the development of UX and UI deliverables from inception to launch, as well as post launch, while working closely with feature stakeholders
  • Set and broadly communicate the UX and UI design vision through deliverables that demonstrate the player journey such as design systems, prototypes, and user flows
  • Drive UX and UI best practices, and pipeline improvements to support the shared vision as you collaborate with discipline leads in art, game design, etc.
  • Lead our accessibility efforts and evangelize for accessible design across the studio

Essential Traits:

  • 5+ years of industry experience as a user experience designer, information architect, or similar UX-related role
  • Experience organizing and managing a team, providing mentorship and professional development to UX designers and UI artists
  • Excellent communication and planning skills with the ability to execute independently
  • Deep knowledge of industry standard software, workflows, and technical aspects of UI implementation
  • An outstanding portfolio demonstrating your UX design thinking

Bonus Traits:

  • Traditional art or UI art skills - Illustration, Sculpture, Painting and Anatomy
  • Subject matter expertise in accessibility design
  • Cross-platform UX design experience
  • Experience working on/shipping a live service game

We can offer:

  • Competitive salary
  • Annual Performance Bonus (APB)
  • Quality of Life increases
  • Christmas closure
  • A chance to work on a new game project with an extremely motivated team
  • Opportunities to learn and grow personally and professionally
  • A stable and secure work environment
  • The ability to work remotely

We’re looking for applicants who are self-driven, put players first, and that have a history of making cool stuff. In return, we can offer an environment that values and supports individual creativity and passion and believes in fostering new talent. We recognize the value of diversity in every sense and actively encourage candidates from diverse backgrounds to apply.
